The Centre offers people the opportunity to gain skills, training & accreditation through volunteering, courses, college placements & work experience. Partnerships with organisations such as ACCROSS, Bootstrap & InTraining allow people to gain & share new skills in a working environment.

John, a former Bootstrap candidate, was given the opportunity for a 6 month placement through the Government 'Future Jobs' Scheme and progressed to full-time employment as a Web Designer & IT specialist with Agapao International.

As a UKOnline Centre, we offer basic courses enabling people of all ages to access IT & web based services, job search & CV writing; all with support and guidance.

June, aged 76, attended a 'Get on with IT' course and now keeps in touch with her family online.
